Machined engineering plastics
Plastics behave differently from metal during machining: they are soft, yield under clamping pressure, expand with heat and some absorb moisture. They stay accurate with sharp tools, adapted cutting data and clamping that does not deform the part.
We mill and turn all common engineering plastics — from low-cost PE to the high-performance polymer PEEK — as one-off parts or in series.

Design tips
- Choose realistic tolerances: plastics change size with temperature and humidity. Tolerances in the hundredths of a millimetre often cannot be held permanently on large parts.
- Choose the material for the application: POM for precision, PA for toughness, PE 1000 for wear, PEEK for temperature — we are happy to advise.
- Specify the colour: many plastics come in natural, black or other colours — please state it in your enquiry.
